"THURSDAY night TV alert"

Court TV - - The Elite - - it is the 2nd Mills and Tracey documentary and features Lou Smit.

This is a MUST WATCH!

Stuff is coming out, the pot is being stirred and many of us hope the investigation will move forward in a very honest way.

is a new series on Court Tv. The Elite is not the title of the JonBenét Ramsey case segment.

Some posters at various forums seem to have misunderstood and did not grasp the difference in the title of the new CTV truecrime series and the title of this segment.

JONBENET AGAIN: Whenever national television is short on crime and
court realism, they trot out another documentary about the JonBenet
Ramsey murder case.

CBS' 48 Hours Investigates attempted - and mostly failed - to put a new
focus on events three weeks ago. Now cable's Court TV offers JonBenet:
A Second Look (6 tonight).

Referred to by the network as "a riveting documentary," the
unpreviewed hour offers a look at the case through the eyes of homicide
investigator Lou Smit, the subject of several previous local and national
documentaries.

As most know, Smit has offered an ongoing scenario contending
JonBenet was killed by an intruder and that her parents, John and Patsy
Ramsey, were not involved in the crime.

Court TV spokesperson Leigh Farris says the production crew and Smit
were allowed "complete access to the house" in an effort to allow Smit to
prove his point.

"All this material is original," Farris added.

The documentary was filmed in summer 2001. No reason was given why
it was not aired earlier.

"JonBenet: A Second Look"

Private Detective Lou Smits was hired to investigate the possible involvement of
JonBenet Ramsey's parents in her murder. Smits' conclusions will surprise many -- he
believes the parents had absolutely nothing to do with the killing. This episode of The
Elite profiles Smits and his extensive investigation and takes the viewer on a journey
from the foothills of the Rockies to both coasts. The show also features clips of
interrogations of the Ramseys -- clips that have not been seen on television before.

Courttv.com's extensive background on JonBenet Ramsey.

Editor's Note:

On November 5, 1999, Court TV telecast a program entitled "Who Killed JonBenet
Ramsey? Prime Suspects." In that program, Court TV did not intend in any way to
suggest that Burke Ramsey had any involvement in the murder of his sister, JonBenet.
To the contrary, the discussion of Burke Ramsey was intended to convey to the viewers
that the participants in the program did not believe that Burke Ramsey should be
considered a suspect. In this connection, the program acknowledged that, in May of
1999, Boulder County District Attorney Alexander M. Hunter publicly released a statement
that officially stated that Burke Ramsey was not a suspect in connection with the murder
of his sister.
