"The fiber evidence"

Patsy owned that jacket for months, maybe years. She used a tote for her paint supplies, in and out of the house. It is NO surprise that some fibers from her clothing could end up in the paint tote.

Patsy wore that jacket on Christmas Day. She was wearing it when she was with JonBenét on that day. There is no doubt that fibers from that jacket could have been transferred to JonBenét's clothes and bedding. It is not damning evidence.

The fibers on the sticky side of the tape - - again they could have been transferred from JonBenét - - OR they could have been put there by John or Fleet. Both comforted Patsy that morning and both handled the tape on the morning of the 26th, before the cops got it.

There were other fibers - and animal hair - that no one has explained. IMO, THOSE fibers are far more important.

Exactly. The fibers are still unidentified. How much effort was made to identify the dark fibers on her body? The beaver hair. What has been done to explain that? DNA? My point is that the police are not interested in finding JonBenet's killer(s). In my opinion they are either part of the conspiracy or a joke.

They have not been matched as far as I know. I understand they insinuated to the Ramseys that the fibers were from John's clothes - like he had been the one - but John's response was like Patsy's - "Go re-test."

Remember that Dale Yeager from Seraph explained that he had been hired by the BPD NOT to be a witness in any trial but to write a report that might "push buttons" when they questioned the Ramseys. He wrote a report linking Patsy to the 118.

I think the cops sought reports saying that fibers were from the Ramseys' clothes - - but when Lin Wood told them to come up with the reports proving same - - I think they shut up as fast as Zieglar dropped out as an expert on the handwriting.

One thing to say something and try to push buttons - another to prove it - - and if the fibers were a match - - I think the cops would have put that out for all to see by now.

And guess what? It really wouldn't make any difference if the fibers from the clothes the parents wore that day were anywhere on the child. They had been with her all day, hugged her, sat with her, played games with her, tucked her in bed...

More important, IMO, would be if they found fibers from the parents' nightclothes on the body. After all, they were in bed together at 10 - - if one got up to kill their daughter, would they really change to do it?

It's obvious to me that the authorities are not trying to show that the parents did it simply because that is what the evidence shows. They are manufacturing evidence and false information which is unsupportable. What they are doing is ILLEGAL and the Ramseys should call for a lawsuit against them for that illegality. The BPD really just doesn't want anyone to know who committed that horrid crime...and by casting suspicion on the parents they have completely achieved their objective for over five years.

5. "from Patsy's deposition"
In response to message #4

Bruce Levin: "Mrs. Ramsey, I have scientific evidence from forensic scientists that say there are fibers
in the paint tray that match your red jacket."

(shots of paint tray, garrote and hair stuck in rope)

Erin Moriarty: (Voice Over) "The paint tray is significant because a brush from it, along with some
rope, was used to strangle and sexually abuse JonBenét. "

Bruce Levin: "We believe the fibers from her jacket were found in the paint tray, were found tied into
the ligature found on JonBenét's neck, were found on the blanket that she was wrapped in, were
found
on the duct tape that was found on the mouth." "I have no evidence from any scientist that suggests
that those fibers are from any source other than your red jacket."

Lin Wood: "Well, come on, what other sources did they test."

Erin Moriarty: (Voice Over) "Patsy's attorney, Lin Wood asked prosecutors to produce the evidence
and when they wouldn't, he refused to let Patsy go on the record. But she did go on the record with
us."

Erin Moriarty to Patsy: "What do you think about these fibers?"

Patsy Ramsey: "After John discovered the body and she was brought to the living room, when I laid
eyes on her; I knelt down and hugged her. But I was, had my whole body on her body. My sweater
fibers or whatever I had on that morning are going to transfer to her clothing. "

In response to message #5

I am trying to get that photo - - will post it if I can get it.

I don't have any way to get it off the tape - - and Lin Wood is, obviously, real busy. But I will ask him for it.

I thought he was wearing a lighter colored coat - his dark hair was very visible as I remember.

7. "fibers "appear to be""
In response to message #6

As I understand it, when the 7 man firing squad met witht he Ramseys in Atlanta in 2000, they tried to get Patsy to explain how fibers that "appeared to be" from her jacket showed up in the paint tote, in the garotte, on JBR's clothes.

"....appears to be" ??????

The fibers do not match - if they did, the Boulder people would have said so and would have put a lab report on the table to prove it.

Didn't happen.

And when Lin Wood called their bluff - - said stop the hypothetical questions - - put up or shut up.

Lin did what a good lawyer does. And the Boulder 7 backed down, Kane flipped out and threatened to walk out.

Later, Kane played less of a role. Now he is gone. I say goodriddance. No one should be arrested on evidence that "appearsto be".

Kane spins - spun - spammed. But he didn't solve the case. Why? I think it is because he refused to look at all the evidence and all the suspects.

He let me know HE was in charge. He was the King! Ends up he was the king of nothing more than a failed investigation.

I do hope someone else gets the case. The killer deserves justice.
