SUZANNE GLORIA LYALL

APPEARANCE: Suzanne was last seen wearing blue jeans, black T-shirt, long black denim coat.
Her hair is long and grown past her shoulders.

LAST SEEN: March 2, 1998 at her part time job at Babbages at Crossgates Mall Albany, NY as to catch her CDTA bus enroute back to the University and her dorm. Witnesses said she was on the bus and she was last seen exiting the CDTA at Collins Circle,*( note the aerial photo) approximately 300 ft. to her dorm on the University at Albany Uptown Campus, New York, arriving at approximately 9:45 PM. Many students were there at the time and that was the last time Suzanne was seen.
NOTE: Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA), coordinates all the busses for the Albany-Schenectady-Troy cities.

Ms Lyall is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 175 pounds, and has long blond hair and blue eyes. Her birthdate is April 6, 1978. She was last seen wearing a long black trench coat, blue jeans, and a black shirt. She may be carrying a black bookbag or totebag.

Ms. Lyall is a sophomore at the University at Albany.

Sunday was Suzanne's Mother's birthday and her family had planned a dinner party in her honor.
Suzanne called her Mother, she was studying for exams and was unable to attend the party. After speaking to her Mother, she spoke to each of her other family members.

"Suzy was at our home the Sunday evening before she disappeared. I remember her saying she had to study for exams the next day. I think she also said she was tired.

Suzy and my son left around 7:30, got something to eat and then she went to the dorm. He was back before 9, and they talked via PC later.

Suzy seemed fine and I did not notice anything different. Just the family was in our home that evening. That was the last time we saw or talked to Suzy.

As far as I know Suzy took her exams and then went to work, got on the bus after work and arrived back to SUNY. Last seen by someone in her dorm. Howvever they seem sure Suzy never made it back to her dorm.

Suzy liked to use the PC, she liked to make crafts,sew, cook (her Mom is a good cook and very good with crafts). Suzy was a quiet person ,she was serious about her stuties and wanted to do well in school.

Suzy was lightening her hair a little over the last few months. I dont know the people she knew at SUNY, howver I dont know of anyone who would want to harm her. I hope this helps sum. As well as the Lyalls, this has been terrible for my family also. Thank you for trying to help."

NOTE: According to witnesses, Suzanne did complete her exams on Monday. She then went to work at her part-time job at Babbages, Albany, NY. After work she rode the CTDA bus returning to
university arriveing at approximately 9:45 P.M. There were many students there at the time. That was the last time Suzanne was seen. She had approximately 300 ft walk to her dorm.

Ironically, Suzanne's Mother (Mary Lyall) was on the phone the afternoon of March 3, 1998 with Suzanne's bank to find out if or when her ATM card may have been used.

Mary was on the phone with the clerk for approximately 20 minutes while the clerk checked the bank records, at about 4 p.m. and at that very moment a withdrawal was made from Suzanne's account!

WANTED FOR QUESTIONING:

This person could have information that would be helpful in locating Suzanne. He is a black male about 30 years old, about 6'0" tall with a medium or muscular build.

He was seen at the Stewart's store on the corner of Manning and Central Avenue in Albany on 3/3/98 at about 4PM. He was wearing a mid-length carhart type jacket and dark baseball hat with the Nike swoosh symbol on the front. He is wanted as a witness only.

The sketch on the billboard above ( Nike Man )was taken from a video of a man that came into the convenience store where the ATM machine was located outdoors at approximately that same time.

He is not a suspect, he is wanted as a witness. Have you seen this man?

I knew immediately that there was something special, unique about her.

I couldn't pinpoint it, but I knew it was a quality that would set her apart.

It wasn't until she entered childhood that I realized that she is one of the small number of people on this earth who are blessed, or cursed as the case may be, with being creative.

She has the ability to see the world in a different way than most of us are capable of and she began to write poetry to talk about herself and the world around her.

When the creative juices are flowing she is able to express her thoughts and feelings as if she is serving as an instrument of a higher power, not knowing where the thoughts are coming from.

She has produced scores of poems over the years that I will always treasure.

We had learned of John Regan in regard to the disappearance of MOLLY BISH, Warren, Conn, however he may have been cleared,
wasn't in Warren and has an alibi. There are several updated news articles posted under subject MOLLY BISH.
