"Brunch with Laci?"

Did I read in the transcripts that Sharon or Amy said she was to meet for brunch with Laci the morning she was missing? Was it ever mentioned if they got worried when she didn't show, or was it out of character for her not to call if plans changed? OR - maybe they're saving THAT part of testimony for the trial? Just curious as to why it was in the prelim transcripts but no one has mentioned it since.

I also had never heard about the plans for brunch. I thought all along it was said that Scott and Laci were going to her parent's home for Christmas dinner on the 25th and that is why she was asked to bring the whipping/sour cream.

Was this brunch to have been between Laci and Amy on Christmas Eve day?

I read a transcript from when Amy testified. (it was posted on an ezboard forum - not sure how to put it here) She mentioned that she was going to be with her dad on the evening of the 24th. A brunch was planned with family on Christmas Day at Scott and Laci's house.

So that's why nothing else was mentioned. The brunch never happened.

Thanks, Rosario, for the clarification. All this time I thought the plan was for Scott and Laci to go to her parent's home on Christmas day.

Edited: to add that I have found the transcripts of the prelimenary and will post the link on the
TRANSCRIPTS PRELIMINARY HEARING thread.

Amy on the stand, MG asking questions:

Q. Okay. On Christmas Eve you planned to be with your dad?
A. Yeah.
Q. Christmas Day?
A. At Laci and Scott's house.
Q. Okay. So Laci and Scott had invited you over to spend Christmas morning at their house?
A. Yes.
Q. Okay. Cooking French toast or something like that?
A. Yes, we were going to have brunch.
Q. Okay. And they were going to invite -- do you know who was supposed to come over on Christmas Day?
A. I don't know exactly. Just our family. I mean, immediate family, not too big. It was going to be small.
Q. Just a couple of the immediate, nuclear family, if you will?
A. Yeah.
