"Dr. Michael Baden"

   CourtTV:
I just caught a minute slice of Dr. Michael Baden talking about the JonBenet Ramsey case while some "pageant footage" rolled.

His comments were a general statement about preserving the crime scene although he alluded to some 'covering of tire tracks and footprints'. I think his allusion to these fantasies indicates he is utterly lacking in familiarity with the case.

7 months ago. He only mention the Ramsey case in terms of the crime scene contamination---he said crime scenes are going to boil down to the forensics.....and how important it is for the first officer on the scene to preserve the crime scene. He was also championing QUALIIED people being given the job of medical examiners...and stricter standards. I think it was him that said, who would want the job? You have a lawyer breathing down your neck ready to haul you in court. (paraphrasing here). He made a lot of sense. He also stressed the importance of having the right experts at the crime scene.

Most of his presentation were slides of cases he worked on---he was pretty entertaining, considering the subject matter.
