Doug and Mary Lyall's daughter, Susan Gloria Lyall, vanished on March 2nd, 1998 from University at Albany Uptown Campus, after leaving her job at Babbages at Crossgates Mall Albany, NY, returning to the university and her dorm by CTDA busline. She was seen on the bus and at the drop off point. That is that last time documented that Susan was seen. Doug and Mary Lyall, her parents and her family, like so many other parents and familys of missing continue their search and will never give up hope finding Susan. Meanwhile they do their very best in every way to help other families of missing loved ones and the safety of our children and our society.

The Center uses various means to promote awareness of missing person issues including special events and publications.
