"Where to get DNA"

Let's see, if I have a crime I want to commit and I don't want to be caught, I need to find some DNA and plant it at the scene. Now where would I get it from?

The inside of a used condom? I could search the streets for one of these late at night and then rub the contents into the victims panties and fingernails.
The inside of a sanitary pad bin? I could visit the local restaurant toilets to open up one of those blue bins and retrieve a used tampon or pad. Is the DNA male or female? I could then rub the dried blood on the victim in the same manner as the condom contents.
The inside of a toilet bowl? I could go scrounging around inside the bowl with the panties in hand trying to wipe off as much matter as possible so that it would all be a pungent mismash of others DNA. Would that work?

I am not a scientist and thus not an expert on the DNA situation. But what matter exactly brings DNA? and if there was no evidence of semen on JonBenet then what was the DNA part of? Saliva, sweat, tears, skin?
Somebody please explain..

Ofcourse you would have to do this at 2:00 o'clock in the morning after some mysterious 'accident' while in a state of extreme emotion. The dna is male. So sanitary pads are out.
Ofcourse obtaining the dna from the source you envision would mean that it was highly contaminated and already subjected to the activity of bacteria that are degrading it and making it less useful for evidentiary purposes.

But one thing you forget,,, the dna is not from seminal fluid.

Neither the dna from the nails nor the dna from the panties is from seminal fluid, so it didn't come from some midnight trip to a seedy part of town to locate a publicly discarded condom.

Oh, and you forgot the pipettes and tweezers with which to carefully handle and deposit the dna.

And be careful at this place where you obtain the dan and later transport it,,,you can't contaminate it with your own dna remember!

You have to get it from someone without contaminating it with your own. SO - - get some sterile knife or tweezers or similar instrument and accidently scrape it against someone in the local grocery store check out line. Immediately place that in a baggie so it will not be contaminated.

When the person you just injured looks angry and puzzled, just mumble something about voodoo and chicken dances. They will NEVER notice thatanything out of the ordinary happened.

had gone around town trying to get foreign DNA wouldn't someone remember being scraped?

Do you think the DNA was planted by the intruder, or it is the intruder's? I am a little confused on this point- was it left by accident or was it left to foil?

If seminal fluid is not the source of the dna then what is saliva?
