"Court TV to air Ramsey show?"

The rumor is that Court TV will air the 2nd documentary made by David Mills and Michael Tracey. That program did air in the UK on July 4th, 2001 - - not seen in the states. The show will not be the same, they will be adding footage to the program, likely including footage of the Ramsey interrogations by Boulder LE.

I found this online - - thought it might be of interest, it is from August, 2001.

Trans World buys rights to JonBenet Ramsey special: Trans World International, the network TV production and
distribution arm of Mark McCormack's International Management Group, has bought the U.S. television rights to "Who Killed
the Pageant Queen?" a British-made documentary that explores new evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation.
TWI represents the producers and is shopping the one-hour program to the U.S. broadcast and cable networks. "Who Killed
the Pageant Queen?" was produced by David Mills and Michael Tracey, the team that produced an episode of CBS's "48
Hours" on the Ramsey case and "The Case of JonBenet: The Media vs. the Ramseys" for A&E's "Investigative Reports." The
latter premiered with a 2.7 rating/4 share household average and remains A&E's highest-rated "Investigative Report" since
1997.

Originally commissioned by ITV for British television, "Who Killed the Pageant Queen?" drew nearly 5.8 million viewers -- a 40
percent audience share -- during its July 11 broadcast in the United Kingdom.

"Who Killed the Pageant Queen?" details the findings of Lou Smit, a veteran homicide detective with a reputation for tenacity
and integrity who solved more than 90 percent of the 200-plus murder cases he investigated during his career. Though Mr. Smit
was hired by the Boulder, Colo., district attorney and the police in hopes that he would help prove John and Patsy Ramsey's
guilt, his 18-month investigation uncovered evidence that pointed to the presence of an intruder.

In addition to this one-hour look at the Ramsey case, the producers say they have gathered material for a follow-up show that
would profile the short list of other suspects whom Mr. Smit identified during his investigation but who were allegedly never
seriously considered by the police.
