"Wecht: Long Term Sex Abuse"

   http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/valleynewsdispatch/s_96120.html
"...
"Things came together in such a way that could never happen again," he said.

Wecht said evidence pointed to long-term sexual abuse of the 6-year-old girl, and that the family's account of her death was improbable. He also questioned whether a botched kidnapping was a realistic possibility. "

IMO: I don't know how he arrives at his conclusions but I think they are questionable. However, if he is right, I would suspect that the friend who changed JonBenet's diapers is the person that might be involved in this.

   I don't think I've heard that story.

I remember that Fleet White told police he'd helped JonBenét's underwear when she was about 5 and had a daytime potty accident while visiting at his house.

Wecht was convinced that John was a molester and killer of JonBenét, and therefore his conclusion had to include JBR being the victim of longtime abuse by her father.

Wecht couldn't have been more wrong.

Wecht theorized that there was some autopsy wording that indicated a molestation roughly 72 hours prior. I suspect this was related to either the Christmas Party of the 23rd or roughly around that time.

Changed diapers perhaps, but not changed spots!!

Although panty-changing Fleet White may have been of some immediate interest, the real problem with this investigation is a publicity hound such as Cyril Wecht. He would NEVER say: killed by an intruder and never suffered any molestation priot to the perimortem interval.
WHY? Because there would be no publicity value in such an opinion.

Wecht will see sexual abuse, indeed chronic sexual abuse because that is what gives him headlines.

Well, he has his publicity. He doesn't have my attention though.

I used to think Dr. Cyril Wecht was a credable forensic specialist, back when he was a proponent of the JFK conspiracy ilk of which I am one. But now, I'm embarrassed by his outspoken self. There just aren't too many of us conspiracy theorists left that still have it all together, you know...sane. Sorry Cyril.

I guess this,in itself, proves that the govt.is engaged in the cover up - trying to discredit us "buffs".

I went through several dozen books before reading "Case Closed". Now I believe Oswald did it all by his lonesome. I actually believe the "magic bullet" theory, and that I still can't believe. :)

Anyway, Wecht came up with his "sex game" theory back during the semen on the leg and "no footprints in the snow" days, right after the murder or whenever the information first became available. It has been so long I don't remember, but it was back when everyone who thinks Patsy did it today thought John did it. It looked like a safe bet at the time. But, the semen turned out to be dried blood, and the snow didn't cover the whole yard, and Wecht was in too deep to back up. So, he still believes in the "sex game" and the "grassy knoll" and appears on things like the "Alien Autopsy" to stay in the limelight.

I like Wecht, even if I don't agree with him.

Anonymous is the key word here, I believe.

I Don't think JonBenet would tell another 6 year old if something like that was going on. It should be easy to find out, however. Interview the girls that would fall under the catagory of very close pageant girl friend to determine if they were told anything.

For me this is just like the anonymous phone call to the AG woman/secretary where the caller claimed JonBenet had been hit by a ball bat that Patsy intended for John, that Patsy had confessed it.

I see a deliberate effort on the part of some unknown persons to set up the Ramseys.

Wecht obviously didn't know the facts of the case when he was spouting off - - he ranted about no exculpatory fiber evidence, do exculpaory DNA or forensic evidence - - - and he was wrong.

I think Wecht was giving the media the BORG crap they wanted - - and I am sorry he never had to own up to the misinformation he put out there.
