"Judith Phillips seeks privacy"

Judith Phillips has been posting elsewhere as "Cookie". She announced last month that her husband had finished his book and was looking for a publisher. If she announced that he found one, I missed it. Many people are writing books, few will reach the shelves.

Judith posted that she can't post any more. She said that the case is at a "sensitive" point right now and that her family would like more privacy.

Now what the hello do you think THAT is all about?

Judith wasn't in Boulder at the time of the murder. She saw Patsy only once after the murder, months later. She was NOT a close friend according to John and Patsy (depositions). But she went on TV - - first to defend the Ramseys and later (when all of us could see only the vicious were getting air time and the Ramseys weren't having her in for lunch) she changed sides.

She was on numerous TV and radio programs. She sold the Ramsey photos. She made nice-nice with tabloid reporters and their friends. She wrote letters. She organized a memorial service. She married one of the men who were on trial for illegally attempting to gain a copy of the ransom note and made sure we all knew about that and his book.

Now she wants privacy? Hmmmm.

I was called and asked what I thought of her post. I said I thought it was BS - - an effort to get some attention for herself. I can't imagine why any case in court right now would demand HER silence.

The Wolf case? She photographed the photo album or Northwest Territory sign? So what??

The White case? She thinks they were treated bad? Who cares?

The Arndt case? She knows some secret there? Give me a break!

AHHHH - - the shoes belonged to Burke story? Is that it? She gonna say she remembers that? If that it is, I am gonna laugh. Her kids didn't go to school with the Ramsey kids and seldom played with them. Burke didn't own Hi-Tec boots (None worn by him on the 26th, none found in the house - - no photos of him wearing Hi-Tec shoes and no record of any being bought.)

Whatever... Judith Phillips doesn't seem very credible to me. But you can all decide for yourselves. Meanwhile, what do YOU think she was talking about?

The way I see it, she deserves as much privacy as she allowed the Ramseys. According to my calculations, that would be about zip.

Probably some "bombshell" that you can only learn by buying it. I don't recall Judy being privy to the investigation, so she wouldn't know the status.

I think it's odd. Perhaps the upcoming 48 hrs program on the Ramsay case has something to do with it. They say when you turn on the light the bugs will scatter & try to hide.

Maybe prayers are being answered, and the investigation will be reopened. After the rash of child murders this summer perhaps the FBI will listen to Lou Smit, "see the light" and assist in a new investigation.

has nothing to do with Judith Phillips. I don't know what is going on in her life and don't know that anyone gives a damn - - but she likes to be a focus - otherwise she wouldn't be announcing she is postiing as Cookie and their book is done and she can't post right now. I say OK - - don't post. We'll all get over it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same person who was a talk show guest, and inserted herself into the case? Her husband had some legal problems if I recall, so perhaps that's why she suddenly wants no more publicity? I think he might be mentioned in Steven Singular's book but I'll have to check.

Where did "Cookie" post this? I hope it's not illness in the family, but it's odd to suddenly announce she wants privacy. Why not just quietly fade away?

She posted it on Dunvegan's site where she is a member. It didn't seem anyone was concerned with her at all before she posted that request to be left alone - go figure.

Poor little Judith wants privacy for her family? Awwwwwwwwwwwww, too bad. How sad. I know someone who needs privacy more than Judith. It's Patsy.

Judith stuck her big fat ugly nose into the case, so, how does the ancient Chinese saying go? Oh, ya. Tuff Chit.
