When it comes to fiber evidence, there really isn't much that can be said until all of the information about them becomes available. We need to know what other fibers were found in the paint tray and all of the other places the BPD said they were found. We need to know what color they were.As far as I know, whether or not the fibers actually exist in the form and locations presented by the BPD is still in question. The question about the fibers asked to Patsy was a hypothetical. I guess I'm seeing this like Lin Wood does - show me the evidence and then we can talk about it. But, not just the fibers that supposedly came from Patsy's jacket, I want to see them all. I want to see how many of them came from someone who didn't live there - source unknown, as well as where they were found. Those are much more interesting than the fibers that came from the people who were in the house every day.
Beckner's statement about not being sure that Patsy was involved in the murder, recently made public, is very interesting. If those fibers were a match, and were everywhere the BPD has indicated they were in their questioning of Patsy - including being embedded in the garrote - I think Chief Beckner would think she was the "killa".
