The Ramseys had invited their circle of friends - the Whites, Fernies, Stines, Barbers, Barnhills (the Walkers were invited but did not attend) and THEY had brought assorted parents and other relatives.

***** ****** later told police he had attended that party. He was a member of the church, a "self-styled prophet" who hated Father Rol. Father Rol felt ***** ****** was mentally unstable.

(name deleted as it is a name not public. I don't know if that person was investigated by the BPD - I expect the DA group looked into him - not sure as they aren't sharing their investigative files.)

This was a Sunday - a member of the church - **** ***** (notto be confused with the gentleman in the last post who is an entirely different individual) was at the church, saw Patsy and JonBenét there at the service and heard someone say, "Don't you just want to strangle her?" **** ***** recognized the man later and in March of 1997, he would call the authorities with the story.

The man was, if memory serves me right, the man from the earlier post.

The point is - - if we had lists of people at different places, we might spot someone who was "interested in being near JonBenét".

So the 2 men were at the Ramsey's Party alone and their wife/girfriend arrived after the Ramsey's Party and before the White's Party ?

Yeah, sounds more and more like a group for unattached adults who are attending the church. Running out of food sounds like disorganized "losers" unable to know how much food would be required and unable to raise sufficient funds to obtain it.

As a 'self styled' prophet, I'm sure the church officials would feel he was mentally unstable.

Any comment about 'just strangle her' is significant irrespective of exactly who the "her" refers to.

Well, here again we are met with a common stumbling block in the investigation: "couples". It was a murder that took place during the holiday season which is certainly a time when 'couples' tend to be together and whereabouts are either verifiable or else the spouse is a co-conspirator.

4-8 people at most meetings, but apparently more at the annual get together for which they had borrowed the Ramsey home. If its still 'couples' its difficult to imagine someone sneaking out for most of the evening and night and not having his absence detected.

Now if it had been the church's Singles Group, that would be different, but a couples group makes me less suspicious even though spouusal complicity is not impossible.

I wonder who approached the Ramsey's about using their house.

I wonder if everyone knew each other or if there was a new member, or were some new members of the church there because of the Holidays.

All it would take is for there to have been an 'extra' person at the gathering. Pad access on that date would not have been necessary.
