#0, The Death Of Innocence

I was just reading a portion of The Death of Innocence because I am writing a term paper on The murder of Jonbenet and I came across a sentence in there written by John that just chills up my spine.

"I push myself off the floor and get a blanket and cover Jonbenet. I lay the blanket over her as I have done many times when she falls asleep."

Wasnt Jonbenet found with a white blanket covering her body?

You might want to determine if this applies to the cellar location of the upstairs.

My understanding is tht she was discovered with a blanket thrown over her corpse with only the feet extending; the blanket not being in any way wrapped around her or tucked-in in any manner.

She was found in the basement with a white blanket around her.

When she was upstairs, after Detective Arndt moved her from the hall to the living room, John grabbed a blanket off a couch or chair and again covered her.

I don't know what is chilling about that. Most people try to get a blanket for anyone who is ill or in an accident. It is comforting - - to the one we cover and to ourselves.
