AMBER Alert Issued For Missing 5-Year-Old Girl

LOS ANGELES -- An AMBER alert has been issued for a missing 5-year-old girl.

Anabella Jade Clark is described as a white female, 3' tall, weighing approximately 40 pounds. She has light brown long hair and hazel eyes. She has a scar above her right eyebrow. She was last seen wearing a pink pajama shirt with Scooby-Doo on the front.

The suspect is Charles William Mix. Mix is described as a 48-year-old male with shoulder length gray hair and a gray beard. He is 6'3" tall and weighs approximately 350 pounds. He is driving a 1968 white GMC van with no windows except in the rear. The license plate number is CA 5456303.

The girl was abducted from Chestnut Street in Riverside between 1:30 and 8:30 a.m. Monday according to information released by the Riverside Police Department.

Freeway signs have been activated.

LATEST INFORMATION: Police in Riverside have recovered an abandoned van sought in the disappearance of a five-year-old girl. There is no trace of the missing child or the man who may have abducted her.
