Times have changed... there are few family cemetaries and few families are buried together now.

Melinda is married with two children of her own. If something were to happen to her now, would she be buried with her sisters or somewhere else so they could buy plots for her husband and kids?

Pam is single - if something were to happen to her now, would she be buried with her parents and neices? Or alone somewhere else?

I don't know, and I really don't think it matters. Their faith tells them that it doesn't matter where they are buried, what matters is that they will be together on the other side.
