On the LKL show, Lin Wood was dismissive of the evidentiary value of pineapple and I think justly so.

He mentioned the variance in digestion times for pineapple. That is true, it is highly variable. The data is derived from adults and is merely extrapolated to determine pediatric values and this induces further chances for error.

But the one thing that Lin Wood mentioned, which had never occured to me, is that someone may simply have put it out on the table for the people there: just as that witness-advocate who was cleaning a surface and putting out bagels and cream cheese, someone may have found a bowl of pineapple in the refrigerator and helped themselves.
