I wish I could take a good close look at the garrote.<BR>I don't believe the cord was tied to the<BR>paint brush handle while the cord was wrapped around<BR>JonBenet's neck. The wrap was carefully<BR>done with the loose (short) end clipped off right<BR>at the handle. In addition, when you measure, the<BR>long extension of the cord, extends EXACTLY <BR>from the center of the handle. Too precise to have<BR>been done on the spur of the moment.<P>I believe on close examination one<BR>would find her hair wrapped around the cord a <BR>few times but not under the cord as it might appear<BR>from looking at the photos.<P>Is this of any importance; Possibly? During the <BR>crime itself the perp most likely wore gloves,<BR>however, in tying that type of knot, which I <BR>believe took a few minutes and was done<BR>sometime prior to the crime, he would have<BR>difficulty doing while wearing gloves. When<BR>he made the tight wrap of the cord, he would<BR>have to hold the paint brush handle with <BR>pressure from his thumb. That means there <BR>is the slight possibility that there is a latent<BR>thumb print under those wraps of cord.<BR>In addition, of course, there could be a <BR>flake or two of his skin.
