I have watched the BORG face many obstacles to their theories. Every time a major fact is exposed SOME fall away from the lynch crew, but others just pooh-pooh it and move on with flames.

I remember when people first heard about the death, it was so easy to blame the mother who was having a problem because she was about to turn 40 - - like most of us haven't passed through that without killing our kids.

But when they heard about the garotte - - it was harder - - what mother could take that time torturing her own child? Even the monster Susan Smith didn't do it "hands on" - - and she had a motive and mental problems! Nothing in Patsy's past indicated she ever was violent or cruel - - many felt she might lash out in rage but NOT do that slow strangling that was evidenced here.

Others hung in there following the PDI theory but even Geraldo Rivera stepped back when they passed the polygraphs. I remember he wouldn't have any part of the effort to discredit Gelb and Baxter. His show that night was honest - - he just had to accept that there was a great hole there - - the polygraphs were very important.

The stun gun - - the BORG has been so SURE there was no stun gun - - the marks were maybe from a loom or a snap - - but since those explanations really don't explain those marks being like the marks on Boggs or on Dobersen's pigs - - they say the stun gun may have existed but even then it was the parents - - never mind there is NO record of them owning one - - no one ever knew of them having access to one and certainly no one found it in the house - - they just say they had this video (unviewed and NOT on stunguns but on personal security)and they figure that ends the debate.

It doesn't.

There is plenty of exculpatory evidence in this case - - the BORG just refuses to see or discuss it.
