"Then came the final undoing of Santa Bill. McReynolds loved appearing on television, and someone recognized him as a regular customer at a local adult bookstore. He came in again for an interview that cleared him of suspicion, but at a personal price.

McReynolds was distraught by the discovery of something he thought was buried so deep in his private life that his wife of thirty-five years was unaware of it until we called him. He emphasized that his sexual fantasies never involved children or child pornography."

Thomas went on to say that Santa was cleared via his handwriting - - but I have never heard anyone else say that. In fact, months AFTER this event, Santa was still very much part of the investigation according to my sources. I don't believe for a moment that Thomas was not aware of that.

Steve Thomas didn't tell the whole truth here - - but I think it may come out soon - - it is all there in the depositions and police reports - - and I don't see how those can remain sealed forever.
