Yes, there are many indications that he was a part of it. I don't think he was the killer...but played a very important role, like a cowriter of the script and codirector of the "play".

edit: There was his religious background and link to Shaker writings,(God will punish those who don't follow his ways!) Bible references left in the home, dictionary opened and page folded to point to "incest", accusation of incest in interview just after the crime, (incest in ancient times was punishable by death). There was his whisperings to JonBenet at the party, explained by Janet but was she truthful? There was the Irish St. Stephens/winter solstice/girl of promise link, since he was Irish. There were numerous astrology links. There was the Celtic harp with kid's names on it.

He was more than just an odd fellow, to me.
