I believe Burke would have had to stand on something to turn
the latch above the door to the windowless room if he wanted
to enter at some time. Perhaps Jameson knows the height of the
latch. The footprint certainly would have
been imprinted sometime after Thanksgiving because there were a
number of people in the room bringing out the Christmas trees
and other decorations. There would have been a number of footprints
unless the mold formed after that time.

I believe impression in the mold was recent, because the mold restores
itself after a footprint in a short time (a few days). At least the mold I
am familiar with does. The mold on the concrete I had
was moist and felt like a thin carpet. It was white and
I stepped on it and checked it out later after reading about the mold
in this case. No way I can say it was similar in all respects
but it looked similar to what I have seen in the photos.
It had the characteristics I described.
