I remember reading in the back yard or gardening and my babies were in their playpens nearby. I remember running in the house to answer the phne or a call of nature. I could see them through the window but if they were playing happily I saw no reason to grab them up and bring them in the house. I could put them in their cribs, I guess, but I thought it was safer to leave them in the playpen than to bring them in the house and leave them on the floor somewhere.<P>Now I wouldn't do that - - and - - damn it - - it isn't right.<P>We need to identify the people who pose a danger to our kids and we need to remove them from the streets.<P>
