the pineapple fragments in the "proximal" portion of the small intestine are not relevant. A pathologist told me they are taught that "proximal" is the beginning part of the small intestine, and not the duodenuem----that he would call the duodeneum out separately. <P>We don't know for a fact that the White's didn't serve pineapple....very possible it's something she ate there.
