<font size= 2><center><b>Reward Offered In Missing Persons Case<P>Boy, Grandmother Missing Since May 12</center></font size></b><BR>DELTONA, Fla., 9:21 a.m. EDT June 12, 2001 -- A Deltona family is offering nearly $2,000 in hopes of finding a missing woman and her ten-year-old grandson. <BR> <BR>Lillian Martin and grandson Joshua have been missing since May 12th. They shared a home with Martin's granddaughter, Joanne Miller and family. <P>Miller told WKMG News Monday night that she believes that her grandmother and brother are still alive. <P>"We all got along fine," Miller said. I don't know why anyone would want to think differently. It was a perfect arrangement for all of us. My grandmother baby-sat for us when I was at work. Another reason why I think they are alive is because I think if anyone knew them they wouldn't hurt them." <P>Investigators haven't been able to come up with much to solve the mystery. The missing pair vanished from the family home, but police have no idea if they left voluntarily or were forced to leave. <P>Family attorney Cheney Mason hinted that the pair may have vanished on their own. <P>"I do not know that she has done it on purpose or by herself. It is a reasonable hypothesis that is being investigated," Attorney Chaney Mason said. <P>State and federal officials are working with Deltona police, but say they haven't received any major tips yet. <P>Fox's "America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back" featured a small segment on Joshua and his grandmother over the weekend. However, operators for the show have only received five calls as of Monday concerning the case, according to WKMG News. <P>There's no question that national exposure has the potential to be "extremely important," Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman Gary David said. <P>"We still do not know what we're dealing with," he said before the show aired, pointing out that "the next tip can come from absolutely anywhere. Someone has some information out there. They have to. And we're hopeful this will shake loose more information." <P>The Deltona mystery was part of a four-minute "APB" (all points bulletin) segment that aired about 20 minutes into the hour-long show. <P>Anyone with information about Joshua Bryant and Lillian Martin can call Crime Stoppers of Volusia County toll free at (888) 277-TIPS.
