Wow- what a terrific idea! such a bracelet would be VERY simple to make- just think of the security tags that are on expensive items in Walmart, for example- (the next time you buy an expensive face cream or an ink cartridge for your printer, take note of the thick little white bar glued to the inside of the box).

There is a guy here in Cleveland, TN who invented a necklace that looks quite ordinary, but actually has a tracker in it. His idea is that parents could have their kids wear this necklace (or watch or bracelet), and then they have a hand-held tracking device which shows them exactly where their child is at all times. Of course, at this point it would be quite expensive, but he is working on making it an affordable thing. It's kind of like those hand held devices that give you directions on where you are going.....
