PARENTS OF JAHI TURNER HOLDON TO HOPE<P>(07-20-2002) - The Friends of Jahi<BR> Turner support group gathered<BR> Saturday at Balboa Park to mark the<BR> months-old search for the missing<BR> 2-year-old. <P> They also gathered to celebrate the birthday of Turner's mother,<BR> Tameka Jones. Jones tried to be upbeat as she stood near the spot<BR> where her son vanished three months ago. <P> Jones hoped to celebrate her 19th birthday with her husband<BR> Tieray. However, as a grieving mother, she had also hoped that her<BR> son would be able to celebrate with them. <P> Turner has been missing since April 25. He was supposedly at a<BR> playground near Balboa Park when his father, Tieray Jones, said<BR> that he left the boy to get a drink. <P> When he returned, the toddler was not there, Jones said.
