They said it was unusual for her to leave the dogs alone in the car.

Sarah Katherine Roberts, 16, recently dyed her hair jet black so she looks a little different than she did in this recent photo. (KGW Photo)
Detectives are calling Roberts' vehicle a 'crime scene' but won't elaborate on details at this time.

Police from multiple agencies, search dogs and even homicide detectives are scanning every section of the state park for any sign of Roberts.

Authorities also closed off Terwilliger Boulevard between Boones Ferry Road and Highway 43 as they search that area. The park is closed as well.

(kgw.com map of road closure)
Police say Roberts was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatshirt with blue shorts when she left home for her jog. She is 5'6" tall and weighs about 130 pounds. Roberts' parents say she knows the Tryon Creek State Park area well and jogs there often.
<img src="http://www.kgw.com/news-local/stories/L_IMAGE.ef1d54ca91.93.88.fa.80.15ddd0c8.jpg";>
The park is located at 11321 SW Terwilliger Boulevard in SW Portland between Portland and Lake Oswego. The 645-acre park has several popular trails used regularly by joggers, cyclists, hikers and horseback riders.

Roberts lives with her family in Lake Oswego where she also attends high school and plays on the school soccer team.

Anyone with information on Roberts' whereabouts or possible suspicious activity at Tryon Creek State Park is urged to call Lake Oswego Police at (503) 635-0238.
This photo shows one of the many tree-lined trails in Tryon Creek State Park.
