That's how the media reported it - - remember this was during the period when the BPD was trying to throw a scare into the Ramseys - - lying about things, suggesting they had the goods on the parents where there was nothing there.

I think they were lying to Hunter as wwell as to the media - - but I have no evidence of that.... just something I believe based on many things that happened after.
