Sorry to get back to you so late - it has been a rough month.

I am confused - - what fiber evidence?

There are fibers that may be from Patsy's jacket on the tape - - but those fibers were in the paint tote and could have been transferred to the tape by the killer - he had gone into the paint tote for a paintbrush. And both John and Fleet had comforted Patsy that morning and then they both touched the tape - - they could have carried the fibers to the tape.

What is more important in my mind are the fibers on the tape that were not sourced. There were colored fibers, a beaver hair, and specifically some light brown fibers that seem to be from a cheap pair of cotton gloves - - gloves that remain missing.

Maybe someone knows who the killer is and knows where those gloves are. Would be nice if they got those gloves and turned them in to the new investigators.

As for other fibers - - the dark ones on the genitals - - no lab report verifies that claim that the fibers are from John's sweater. No report that I know of.

IF someone thinks they know where those gloves are - or the source of the dark blue fibers - PLEASE gather them up carefully - put them in a brown paper bag and staple that bag shut - send to investigators. To pick up the item, use clean tweezers or tongs or put your own hand in a clean plastic bag so you don't contaminate the evidence.
