Rita suggests Burke was not pretending to be asleep on his own - that he was TOLD to do that - "... so he woulnd't be subjected to questioning early on....."

How assinine a statement is that??? They told him to pretend to be asleep because they didn't want him questioned and then they sent him to the Whites where he could have been questioned by the visiting family from CA - and was questioned by police.

Rita went on and said - "That's the only thing that would make any sense to me why a nine-year old boy child would not want to help in the search for his baby sister."

What the hello is she talking about? Burke was not pretending to be asleep so that he could not help search for his sister! He wasn't aware of what was happening - he knew it was something bad but he was a kid who did not understand what was happening - he just knew his mother was hysterical and something was very, very wrong.

Rita is pure meanness and evil, I believe she is mentally ill and perhaps even dangerous.
