I am leaving the Ramsey case. I came in because I wanted to be a voice of balance and reason against the lynch mob and I did that. I fought to see a special investigator brought in and I did that - Tom Bennett is in place and I have faith he will do a good job.

I think it is important the discussion continue - but I am not needed and for personal reasons I have decided it is time for me to leave this forum.

It is not because I am being pressured to leave by Lin Wood or anyone having to do with the investigation. I don't fear a lawsuit or anything like that. I don't fear anything anyone is saying about me. I have simply decided that I don't care for the situation I find myself in right now and have decided not to stay where I am uncomfortable.

(Yes, it was a sudden decision, but I think it is a proper one.)

The forums will remain open as long as the members are interested and supporting it. More discussions can open... if a member wants to see one opened, they need only ask. I will simply be the owner/moderator.

So now it is up to the rest of you to gather the news and post - - or let the discussion die.

I am not saying I will never return - never say never. I may again decide to post. But for now, it isn't my place.

You may see me elsewhere - I have decided to lend my support to Hatfill as far as Foster is concerned and I am still interested in the Butts case. But Ramsey.... I am going to close this door.

She may have "heard" it - - could have been mumbling to herself for all I know... but I want to make it clear that no one has asked me to step down or threatened me with charges or a lawsuit if I continued. Those rumors are false, untrue, and lies.

As far as I know, law enforcement will continue to take my calls and listen to me with respect, interest and a willingness to work WITH me in an effort to solve this. They have in the past and I have NO reason to think they wouldn't again. My credibility is just fine where it counts.

I just want to make it clear I have not been asked to stop posting by ANYONE - no one threatened me in any way. I am not afraid of posting my opinions or facts and I don't take direction from anyone who is not wearing my skin.

Rita's information is wrong, nothing new there. Her credibility is nonexistant as far as I can tell - and that is a fact.
