Ok, I take back the lawyer jokes.

I'm glad that chapter is behind you----it was a bit shocking at first, until more details came out, but I thought you either went temporarily insane (not likely).....or there was more to it, and no intent to ever hurt the Ramseys.

There had to be some concern on LW's part that the perception would be either he or the Ramseys sold the tapes.....or Darnay was involved. I'm sure he was royally po'd because of the civil case....and the sale of the tapes possibly jeopardizing that. He's a good lawyer, and defender of his clients....and it goes beyond the typical lawyer/client relationship--he has a passion, IMO, for his cases.
