Was Lou Smit present at the crime scene on Dec. 26, 1996?
If he was not, then he has had to rely on photographic evidence to reach his conclusion about footprints in the frost/snow. According to what you've posted elsewhere on the forum, the photographs of the surrounding area, were not taken until 7:30am or after on Dec. 26, 1996. In the photos I have seen, it is daylight and the sunlight would have a major impact on the frost/snow and footprints.
How could Smit possibly draw a reasonable conclusion, considering these facts?

Not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand.
